Join us at Hopewell Community Park on September 26–27, 2026, for a World War II living-history event honoring the Battle of Hürtgen Forest and life on the homefront.

Explore period-accurate German and American encampments, inspect authentic uniforms and equipment, and talk with living historians,  event starting at approximately 1:00pm with live music from The Swingin’ BopCats Big Band from 1:30pm to 3:00pm, on Sunday, September 27th. 

Open to the public. Come step back into 1944 and help preserve the legacy of those who served!

Join The Swingin BopCats Bigband at Hopewell Community Park on September 26–27, 2026, for a WWII living-history event honoring the Battle of Hürtgen Forest. Experience authentic German and American encampments, living history demonstrations, and a Saturday night USO-style dinner dance featuring live music. (4:00–5:00 PM & 6:30–8:30 PM).

Then enjoy a USO-style dinner and dance featuring live music from The Swingin’ BopCats Big Band, performing from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM.
